A Parent’s Guide To Volunteering in Our School

It has been decided that ALL volunteers need to be fingerprinted in order to commence any interaction with the children of CPS. Also, the fingerprints must be conducted by our approved vendor Accurate Biometrics.
If you have already submitted requests for volunteer background name check, please have the volunteer(s) start the fingerprint check process. The applicant(s) MUST bring the completed and signed Volunteer request letter and the Volunteer Fingerprinting Background Investigation forms (both of which are attached to this email) along with a valid Government issued photo ID (Driver’s license, State ID or Foreign Government issued ID). We have a fingerprint representative on site at 320 N. Elizabeth, 1st Floor between the hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm (check into the Kiosk under “Fingerprints”). Or, volunteers can visit one of Accurate Biometrics locations throughout the Chicago-land area. For a listing of locations visit Accurate Biometrics website at: www.accuratebiometrics.com. All Accurate Biometrics facilities are acceptable to have the fingerprinting conducted with the exception of the ones which state “DCFS only”.
