Mark Sheridan Academy is a magnet school that focuses on science, math, and academic excellence. Emphasis is also placed on integrating arts education throughout the curriculum. Sheridan is committed to increasing student achievement. Advanced 8th grade students take algebra. Sheridan also offers advanced programs through its comprehensive gifted program in science and language arts. Sheridan's facilities include three science labs, a computer lab, as well as Internet connected classrooms.
