Principal's Message

Dear Mark Sheridan Families,

It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I welcome you to another exciting school year at Mark Sheridan Math & Science Academy. As we look ahead to 2025–2026, I am inspired by the incredible potential within our classrooms, hallways, and community. Each year brings new opportunities to grow, to innovate, and to build upon the strong traditions that make our school such a special place.

At Sheridan, we believe that academic excellence thrives alongside creativity, curiosity, and collaboration. Our students are not only developing essential skills in math and science, but also learning to think critically, act responsibly, and engage as leaders in their school and beyond. This balance of rigor and imagination ensures that our graduates are well-prepared for the next stages of their journey.

Families are at the heart of everything we do. Your partnership, support, and trust fuel our success and remind us daily that education is a team effort. Together, we are shaping a community where every child feels safe, valued, and empowered to succeed.

I am truly excited for the year ahead and grateful for the opportunity to continue this important work with you. Thank you for entrusting us with your children—their laughter, energy, and determination are what make Mark Sheridan shine.

Work Hard, Be Kind,
Elizabeth Nessner
